มาสนใจเรื่องสงครามนิวเคลียร์กันวันนี้เถอะ

สงครามโลกครั้งที่ 3 จะเป็นสงครามนิวเคลียร์ ที่มนุษย์ได้สร้างอาวุธชนิดนี้ และในที่สุดก็จะเอามาทำลายมนุษยชาติของตัวเองไป(อาจจะ)ทั้งโลก แม้จะรอดไปจากแรงระเบิดและอุณหภูมิความร้อนสูงโดยตรง แต่แรงอณุภาพการทำลายจะมีผลตามมาจากอากาศ น้ำ สิ่งแวดล้อมเป็นพิษ ฯลฯ เช่นจะไม่เห็นดวงอาทิตย์เป็นเวลานานเพราะฝุ่นตลบปิดบังแสงอาทิตย์ห่อหุ้มโลกเอาไว้ จนทั้งโลกกลายเป็นฤดูหนาวเพียงฤดูเดียว ที่ร้ายคือจะไม่เห็นแสงดวงอาทิย์ ปลูกพืชผักบริโภคไม่ได้ แหล่งน้ำแม้จะอยู่ใต้ดินก็จะถูกกำมันตภาพเข้าเจือปน ทุกชีวิตอาจถูกทำลายไปในที่สุดไม่ช้าอย่างต้องทนทุกข์ทรมาน ก็เร็วคือถูกแรงระเบิดในรัสมีเขตทำลายได้โดยตรง ฟังดูแล้วสยดสยองยิ่งนัก และเรื่องเกิดจากสงครามยูเครนครั้งนี้ อาจนำโลกให้เป็นไปทางนั้น นั่นคือจุดจบของมนุษยชาติและของโลกนั่นเอง

ฅลิปนี้ขอเชฺิญชวนเพื่อนมนุษย์ มาเสนอเรื่องราว ที่มาที่ไป ที่พอจะรวบรวมเป็นความรู้(ใช่ว่าใส่บ่าแบกหาม)เอาไว้ เท่าที่สามารถจะมีความรู้พอจะค้นคว้าหามาได้ อาจจะเป็นรูปเรื่องในประวัติศาสตร์ความเป็นมา ข้อมูลทางวิทยาศาสตร์ จุดกระทบกระทั่งจากสังคมและการเมือง ทำให้เกิดสงครามนิวเคลียร์ และเกิดการใช้พวกอาวุธร้าย รวมทั้งอาวุธเคมี-ชีวะ ที่มนุษย์คิดขึ้นมาเพื่อทำลายศัตรู และมันก็ย้อนกลับมาทำลายตัวเองและโลกด้วย เชิญเข้ามาร่วมด้วยได้เลยครับ:

โจ ไบเดนประกาศที่ญี่ปุ่นว่าจะช่วย(รบ)หากจีนบุกไต้หวัน

และสงครามไต้หวันเป็นอย่างอื่นแทบไม่ได้ ที่จะต้องมีการใช้อาวุธที่รุนแรง และจะกลายเป็นสงครามนิวเคลียร์ทันที เพราะโลกรู้หรือว่าทั้งญี่ปุ่นและไต้หวันไม่มีอาวุธนิวเคลียร์? เหมือนอิสราเอลก็ไม่เคยประกาศว่ามี แต่เป็นที่รู้กันว่ามีจำนวนเป็น 80 - 400 ลูก และเกาหลีเหนือจะได้รับบทเรียน ที่ได้ทำตัวเป็นนักเลงใหญ่ ทำการทดลองจรวดและอาวุธนิวเคลียร์เอาตามใจชอบ คอยข่มขู่เพื่อนบ้านทั้งญี่ปุ่น เกาหลีใต้ เกาะกวม โอกินาวา ฟิลิบปีนส์ ไต้หวันมาตลอด ก็อาจจะถึงคราวตัวเองจะถูกทำให้"ระเหย"ไปในอากาศไปทั้งประเทศซะที

(US President Joe Biden said he would be willing to intervene militarily to defend Taiwan if it were attacked. It is one of the strongest statements in support of the island in decades. Biden also warned that China's increasingly assertive stance over Taiwan was "flirting with danger".

"We agreed with the One China policy, we signed on to it... but the idea that it can be taken by force is just not appropriate," he said.

Researchers and government officials stress that a nuclear attack is very unlikely.

“We are assessing President Putin’s directive and, at this time, we see no reason to change our own alert levels,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Feb. 28.

“As long as these weapons are around, the possibility will always be there that they will actually be used,” said Alejandra Munoz, a project officer at the Dutch peace organization PAX.

Researchers, academics and advocacy groups for risk reduction and nuclear disarmament have written reports detailing what a hypothetical attack could look like and the long-term impact it could have on the planet and society.

สิ่งที่เป็นไปได้หากอเมริกาและโลกเสรีเกิดอ่อนล้า

สถานการณ์ของโลกกำลังเขม็งเกลียวในสงครามยูเครน รอการเพลี่ยงพล้ำจากฝ่ายเนโต้ อันมีอเมริกาเป็นหัวหน้า หากสงครามก้าวล้ำไปสู่การรบโดยตรงกับเนโต้ จึนคงบุกยึดไต้หวันทันที และทันทีก็จะเกิดสงครามโลกครั้งที่สาม และทันทีจะเกิดสงครามนิวเคลียร์ ??

คนไทยควรลืมตาดูโลกให้กว้าง โดยเฉพาะพยายามศึกษาเรื่องประเทศเกิดใหม่เกือบ 50 ประเทศ โดยพยายามปลดแอกตัวเองจากความเป็นทาส ในระหว่างโลกเกิดสงคราม ไม่ต้องดูไกลเอาใกล้ๆบ้านเรา ตัวอย่างที่นายพลออง ซาน ประกาศอิสรภาพให้พม่าที่กรุงโตเกียว อินโดนีเซียเป็นทาสดัชท์มา 425 ปีนำโดยซูกาโนและดร.ฮัดตา และโฮจิมินห์ประกาศอิสระภาพแก่เวียตนาม ไหนจะที่อินเดียโดยเนรูห์ ปฏิกริยาในสหพันธ์มาเลย์ ในเขมร ลาวโดยเจ้าเพชราชและเจ้าสุภานุวงศ์ ฯลฯ เพียงตัวอย่างแค่ยิบมือใกล้บ้านเรา ประชาชนที่ถูกกดขี่เยี่ยงทาส ต่างขย้บปลดแอกตัวเองกันทุกแห่ง

Diego Garica was discovered by Portuguese explorers in the early sixteenth century and its name is believed to have come from either an early explorer's ship captain or its navigator.  Under the Treaty of Paris of 1814, many of the islands in the Indian Ocean under the control of the French were ceded to Britain, including the Mauritius and the Chagos Islands. In 1965, these islands became the British Indian Ocean Territory. During the 19th Century, the islands were used as plantations, producing copra and coconut oils. Plantations on Diego Garcia were closed in 1971, following a decision to establish the U.S. Navy Support Facility based on the 1966 Exchange of Notes between Great Britain and the United States. In January 1971, U.S. Navy Seabees were transported to the island by landing ship to begin building the U.S. military presence on Diego Garcia. Today Diego Garcia is home to 15 separate commands, including the U.S. Navy Support Facility, which functions as the host command.
Its position is strategically vital for the US, allowing it to project its military strength northwest into the Middle East and South Asia, east into Asia, or west into Africa.  It's the most important US base in the Indian Ocean region. Diego Garcia is surrounded by about 60 other atolls. Its coast forms a deep natural harbor, making it the perfect site for a naval base. Diego Garcia has been the site of important military action by the US. On the remote tropical island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean lies a secretive, strategically vital US military base. Before that, the site had proved its strategic importance for US military operations in the Middle East as a base for Air Force attacks in 1991 during the first Gulf War. From the base, long-range B52 bombers embarked on missions to Afghanistan in 2001, targeting Taliban and Qaeda positions in the country's mountains. The base is also vital as a refueling point for the US Navy and Air Force. Its deep port is able to accommodate aircraft carriers, nuclear submarines, and other ships. With Diego Garcia accessible only to restricted US military personnel, its secrecy has attracted speculation. Unlike the US military base in Guam, the spouses of personnel are not allowed on Diego Garcia. No journalist has visited. The UN court ruled that it was illegal for the British to demand possession of the islands as a condition of independence. Shortly afterward, the British leased Diego Garcia to the US. The UN has now served an eviction notice to the British. Though the ruling is not enforceable, it exerts moral pressure and has placed the future of the base in doubt. The base has served as a launchpad for US military operations in the Middle East and as a refueling point for Air Force patrols headed to the South China Sea, and it was even designated an emergency landing spot for space missions by NASA.

As Russia invaded Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin blatantly threatened to use nuclear weapons. A Western military intervention could lead to an incalculable escalation, and the return of nuclear weapons in Europe has experts worried.
After the end of the Cold War, thousands of nuclear weapons were withdrawn from Europe. But three decades later, the political situation has once more escalated dramatically, with increasing levels of new nuclear weapons in Europe. Even in 2018, experts agreed that the situation had deteriorated. At that time, US President Donald Trump’s decision to exit the INF Treaty caused the greatest concern. But in 2022, Moscow is openly threatening to use nuclear weapons in war.
In 2018, filmmaker Andreas Orth interviewed military experts from France, Germany, Russia and the US. He looked at images of a new generation of nuclear weapons, and even filmed in once top-secret former nuclear missile installations. Four years on, in the wake of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, how do experts assess the situation? How great is the danger of nuclear weapons being used in the war against Ukraine?
"The New Cold War – More Nuclear Weapons in Europe?" is a critical look at current nuclear armament and what it means for Europe.

But what is that theory?
The idea is that such weapons would produce considerably less radioactive by-products than current designs of nuclear weapons but, in turn, they would release a huge number of neutrons.
The big question is: Should we allow such weapon designs to go ahead and how scared should we be if we do and how scared should we be if we don’t?
To best deduce answers to all these questions, we first need to understand what 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation nuclear weapons are. But before that, here are two words you are going to hear a lot over the course of the next ten minutes:
“Fusion” and “fission”.

On October 22, 1962, in a nationally broadcast address, President John F. Kennedy revealed the presence of Soviet-built missile bases under construction in Cuba and announced a quarantine of all offensive military equipment being shipped to the Communist island nation.
SOUNDBITE (English) John F Kennedy, President of the United States:
"Good evening my fellow citizens: This Government, as promised, has maintained the closest surveillance of the Soviet Military buildup on the island of Cuba. Within the past week, unmistakable evidence has established the fact that a series of offensive missile sites is now in preparation on that imprisoned island. The purpose of these bases can be none other than to provide a nuclear strike capability against the Western Hemisphere.
Upon receiving the first preliminary hard information of this nature last Tuesday morning at 9 a.m., I directed that our surveillance be stepped up. And having now confirmed and completed our evaluation of the evidence and our decision on a course of action, this Government feels obliged to report this new crisis to you in fullest detail.
The characteristics of these new missile sites indicate two distinct types of installations. Several of them include medium range ballistic missiles capable of carrying a nuclear warhead for a distance of more than 1,000 nautical miles. Each of these missiles, in short, is capable of striking Washington, D.C., the Panama Canal, Cape Canaveral, Mexico City, or any other city in the southeastern part of the United States, in Central America, or in the Caribbean area.
Additional sites not yet completed appear to be designed for intermediate range ballistic missiles--capable of traveling more than twice as far--and thus capable of striking most of the major cities in the Western Hemisphere, ranging as far north as Hudson Bay, Canada, and as far south as Lima, Peru. In addition, jet bombers, capable of carrying nuclear weapons, are now being uncrated and assembled in Cuba, while the necessary air bases are being prepared.
This urgent transformation of Cuba into an important strategic base--by the presence of these large, long range, and clearly offensive weapons of sudden mass destruction--constitutes an explicit threat to the peace and security of all the Americas, in flagrant and deliberate defiance of the Rio Pact of 1947, the traditions of this Nation and hemisphere, the joint resolution of the 87th Congress, the Charter of the United Nations, and my own public warnings to the Soviets on September 4 and 13. This action also contradicts the repeated assurances of Soviet spokesmen, both publicly and privately delivered, that the arms buildup in Cuba would retain its original defensive character, and that the Soviet Union had no need or desire to station strategic missiles on the territory of any other nation.
The size of this undertaking makes clear that it has been planned for some months. Yet only last month, after I had made clear the distinction between any introduction of ground-to-ground missiles and the existence of defensive antiaircraft missiles, the Soviet Government publicly stated on September 11, and I quote, "the armaments and military equipment sent to Cuba are designed exclusively for defensive purposes," that, and I quote the Soviet Government, "there is no need for the Soviet Government to shift its weapons . . . for a retaliatory blow to any other country, for instance Cuba," and that, and I quote their government, "the Soviet Union has so powerful rockets to carry these nuclear warheads that there is no need to search for sites for them beyond the boundaries of the Soviet Union." That statement was false.
In that sense, missiles in Cuba add to an already clear and present danger--although it should be noted the nations of Latin America have never previously been subjected to a potential nuclear threat.
